Jennifer Hynes is a Bay Area Artist, who lives in San Rafael, California. She is currently participating in the Being Human residency and social practice at the Palo Alto Art Center. Jenny received her BFA at California State East Bay and her Post Baccalaureate at The San Francisco Art Institute. She works in printmaking, painting, mixed media, and collaborative art practices. Jenny writes on a regular basis about being a parent, studio time, anxiety, and other things on her blog, dirtylaundryblog.com. Her self-published book, Naptime Paintings, Motherhood Through the Eyes of an Artist received a 2018 Eric Hoffer Book Award in the category Culture. Jenny has participated in solo, group, and juried shows throughout the Bay Area.
